Beats x will not turn on

I have brand new beats x and it charged just fine. I went to turn it on and nothing happens. I tried resetting it and nothing happens. When it’s plugged in, I can reset it (I see the blinking lights and then it turns to white). As soon as I unplug it, the light turns off and it will not turn on.
