Can’t Turn On Switch Control

I have an iPhone 11. I recently got a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and wanted to turn on switch control so I can play games such as Minecraft on it. When I go into settings I can’t use switch controls as the option to turn it on/off is grayed out. I can make switches and stuff but simply just can’t turn it on. I did try turning off assistive touch but it is still grayed out so I’m not sure what to do. Does my iPhone not support it or do i need to do an iOS update/downgrade?

I ended up finding a solution but it’s somewhat weird. I had to make an accessibility short cut for it. When I press the home button three times I can use switch control. For some reason it is still grayed out even when it’s on so I’m not sure.

A question: is Bluetooth On (check -> Settings -> Bluetooth)?

Then tap on it.

You will see that the iPhone is trying to detect the keyboard and mouse.

Are the keyboard and mouse recognized? appears on the list of available devices?

Does my iPhone not support it

Before purchasing the keyboard and mouse, you should have asked whether the keyboard and mouse are suitable for your iPhone at the store where you purchased it.

Check the keyboard and mouse manual, how to . . .

or do i need to do an iOS update/downgrade?

If the iPhone run iOS 15.5, then it is up to date.

You cannot downgrade.
