Apps

My daughter has an iPad and I’m trying to get her set up on an older iPhone we have. I did not do an automatic setup because it has been a while since we did a backup. There are apps she has in her iPad and her phone. When I go to the App Store to download them they don’t show up. How can I go about setting up or finding these apps?
