4k TV Device - No Ehternet Connected...Not Connected To Network

New to Apple TV 4k. It's connected to a 8 port network switch. The device installed fine using a ethernet connection. And I was able to use the device. Fast forward to day two I started to get error messages that a network cable was not connected. So I powered down the TV box and the network switch, unplugged the cables, reconnected and rebooted. The device worked however later in the day I got the same message. Moving on to day three, first I got the no ethernet cable connected message. So I powered down/unplugged cables/rebooted and now I get something to the effect of "Not Connected To Network".

I went into settings and it shows the ethernet is connected, along with the correct IP/DNS/MAC details. Seems like the device is seeing the network.

Further trouble shooting involved using two other ethernet cables (tried cate 5e and cat6), trying different ports on the network switch, powering down etc....

I'm having no ethernet connection problems with any of the other devices connected to the network switch. They all show internet connections and run just fine.

So I connected to wireless just fine. For the time being.

I read somewhere that setting up the device as a HomeKit solved the problems for others? Other threads show this is not a uncommon problem and there was mention about the device powering down or hibernating??

Anyways I'm lost and looking for tips and advice. Thank you
