iPad mini 6 won't turn to sleep mode
In my iPad mini 6 I do not use any cover. Is this the reason why ipad do not turn to sleep mode ?

If you want to change the amount of time before your iPad auto-locks, you should be able to do this in Settings > Display and Brightness > Auto-Lock and set the time there.
If you mean something else, please post back with relevant information.
