iOS 15.5 ALL Bluetooth connections STUTTERING

My iPhone X is automatically updated to each new iOS version when they are pushed out. Recently (since iOS 15 launched), EVERY bluetooth device I connect to -- be it ear buds, speakers, car stereo adapter -- constantly hiccups every couple of minutes, blanking out for fractions of a second to a full second or more each time.

I have read of MANY others having this issue who have posted about it online and in THIS support forum. The iPhone was designed, as much as being a phone, to be a device for enjoying portable music (finally replacing the iPod). Why isn't some advice being offered or some fix being worked on? It seems that the complaints are falling on deaf ears at Apple.
