If you do not have a Time Machine backup, or copied the Excel file to other storage, then there is no recovery for a deleted document — unless it was deleted on iCloud, where Apple offers you a 30-day sliding window to restore deleted content.

Log into your iCloud account via Safari using your Apple ID. Once signed in, click on your name in the upper right corner and a menu will descend. Pick Account Settings. In the lower left corner of the Account Settings screen is Advanced, and within it, is restore files.
