Safari pop up says my iPhone was hacked

What do I do if I was on safari and I get a pop up saying my phone was hacked. This was a legit Apple pop up. I’m nervous for my new phone. I immediately closed out of the source but nervous my information just got stolen now. Help.

It's a scam, not a legitimate Apple pop up (Apple does not send pop-up messages online). Clear your browsing history and move on.

No such thing. It's a scam trying to get you to buy worthless software to fix a problem that does not exist.
