Webcam Quality on MacBook Air M2 (2022)

A couple of the magazine product reviews for the MacBook Air M2 (2022) are calling out the lesser image quality of its 1080 webcam. Is the webcam quality a thing of concern?

For background, I am coming from a MBP 13" (mid-2012 running Catalina). I am pretty sure that I would not notice such a concern even if it did exist. I did not observe significant concerns on most of the images in the review (except for the more obvious darker images).

I ask because I have a new, customized MacBook Air on order for August 2022 delivery. Hopefully, all is well or addressable with a software update. TIA.

I'm finding the Web Cam quality to good enough. About the same as the Studio Display.

I received my MacBook Air with M2 chip yesterday and have been very impressed with the camera quality.

I realize that the MacBook Air M2 (2022) has just been released. My objective was to see if any new owners have seen any concerns, and/or to hear if the recent production units might have received a software update before shipping. From a community support perspective, I hoping for good news (e.g., non-issue, resolved with update). Thanks!
