Focus mode will not disable on my contacts side

My focus mode is turned off and disabled on all my devices including each individual contact for messaging as well in message settings but it’s still showing as “notifications are silent” when people text me even though they come through with sound. It looks like I’m not taking texts from family and friends! Please help! I’ve completely reset my phone and turned it off and on. Will not resolve! Help!
