I am unable to re-download apps because it asks for my billing information even if I have already provided a valid one.

I deleted a few apps and went to re-download the ones I deleted, but I was unable to as it would ask me to verify my billing information. I attempted to but it wouldn’t work and would just ask for my password again with the same question. I tried downloading random apps I had not yet downloaded before and it was successful. I also freed up space from my iCloud storage but it didn’t work. I am getting more and more frustrated and hope I am able to get some answers. (This is across all devices and I only use one Apple ID)

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! Is this happening with a specific app you are attempting to download or any app that you've had previously that you are attempting to download. If happening with a specific app, are you searching that app in the App Store or redownloading it from your "Purchases" list? Does the app come up if you search it in the App Store? The reason we ask is, it's possible that the app is no longer available to download.


If you go to Settings > Your Name > Payment & Shipping, do you see any error messages for your payment method?


If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support


You can also go to Settings > Your Name > Media & Purchases > Purchase History to confirm there are no pending charges that need to be covered.


You can find some additional troubleshooting steps here: If you can’t download or update apps on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.
