Shift Command 6 will screen shot the Touchbar—
maybe posting that image with circles and arrows or highlighting the "little silver button" in question...(?)

That appears either to be a small magnet, or possibly a small shim used for the TouchID button. If the laptop was repaired, then it is possible a shim got lost and got stuck there. Just remove it as it may damage the glass or LCD panel when the laptop's Display is closed.
