The locations which Apple Pay supports

if Apple pay has world wide coverage, how come in small places like Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. It’s not viable to use?

If the merchant accepts contactless payments, you may be able to use your cards.

Sooo if the merchant allows contactless payment you could technically use Apple Pay all over the world??

Sure it doesn’t have world wide coverage but in places close to those small islands they do have coverage for example I went on a trip to Panama last week and I bought a number of items with Apple Pay but Apple Pay isn’t supported in Panama.
