MacOS High Sierra cannot give the iOS device more storage, however you can freeup space in the Settings. You can go to Settings, then General, iPhone Storage, then if you see options such as "Offload Unused Apps" then enable that to save some storage, or Go to Settings, then Photos, and click "Optimize iPhone Storage" If you need more storage for Documents, Photos, Videos, and more you can upgrade to iCloud+, You get 5GB by default.
