iOS Home Page icon Placement When I try to place Home Screen icons on my iOS devices the screen goes nuts and moves all of the icons in a way that makes it impossible to place things where I want them to be. Icons swirl around and end up in nonsense places or pop to the next screen so I have to chase after them and bring them back to the screen I was working on. Presumably you are trying to activate Perspective Zoom for your Home Screen Wallpaper.

First, understand that the wallpaper image must itself be suitable - in having distinct objects in the image; a “flat” image or colour simply won’t produce a 3D-effect.

From iPad settings:

Settings > Wallpaper

Tap the selected Lock/Home Screen Wallpaper image - then set Perspective Zoom to On:
