PINK PIXELS ON MACBOOK PRO M1

my macbook pro m1, which i got 3 months ago, just froze while im on an almost 1hr and 30m video call. when it froze, it started to make weird electric noises, then these pink pixels started showing up and blinking (photo attached is my actual macbook screen) it restarted on its own and is now working fine, no issues at all. im scared it might happen again.

did it happen to your macbooks as well?

why did it happen tho?

what caused this?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.4

One time anomalies are not uncommon, and they generally mean nothing in particular.

There's nothing to do until something actually fails. As long as it's working, use it.

You can run diagnostics, but my guess is you find nothing: Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support
