I MUST update to the latest iOS to get battery replacement?

yea it's like the topic said, I want to get a battery replacement within the 1 year warranty period.

I bought an iPhone 11 on 13-09-2021 in Malaysia.

Now I am studying college in Taiwan, I still can claim warranty right?

Then I have a ques, it's do I MUST update to the latest iOS before walk-in to the authorized store?

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Due to the different hardware, Apple might restrict the warranty for your iPhone to the country of purchase.

Check the warranty for your country on this Apple page:

Legal - Hardware Warranties - Apple

You don't have to update your iPhone to the latest iOS, if you are planing to get it serviced.

But, be sure to back up the device before. Your iPhone might be updated to the latest iOS during the repair process.
