The other day i was on my crome browser. All of a sudden an alert site came up and a voice was saying that you have been hack don't shut down your computer. is this real or is it fake? please let me know

What you were seeing is probably a website imitating the appearance of a "system alert" to scare you into trying to download something malicious.
macOS has built-in antivirus/anti-malware protection, but if you want another means to determine if your Mac is "infected" I would suggest that you try Malwarebytes for Mac
