Other ideas you may be familiar; reminds me of earlier attempt to extend outdoor
antenna for AirPort Extreme (final edition, 54k orb-spaceship) - not using its Port.
Whole A.E. thing fit nicely into a 5 gallon plastic bucket; it sat on top nearby roof.
All wires were water-proofed enough, going in and the Wi-Fi got out through it..
That covered part of front yard, 1/2 of 5 acres; geography & nearby hill, limits its range.

..Visiting relatives with their RVs could access that, too. And my backup, was hardwired..
Limited 'dish network' was harder to sustain, given extreme atmospheric weather events.
With weather well above ground-level, pointless to cover a feedhorn; it gathered no snow.
