How to check if iPhone has a carrier lock?
hi, i just bought used iphone xs max, and it seams to me that it has a carrier lock. Can i check if it is?

Two ways, either try a SIM and if it says Invalid SIM or SIM not supported then it is locked to another carrier,
Alternatively look in Settings, General, About and look for Carrier or Network restrictions.
Only the carrier who locked it can unlock it.
