Can't send email from Mac Mail

• I can't send email from one of my email accounts using my computer but I receive emails just fine.

• I can get/send email from both web mail and my phone. It's just my computer that is the issue. My phone uses the same port number I am using on my computer.

• On my computer when I look at the outgoing settings it says the account is offline. I have tried turning the account on and off and restarted Mac mail and even restarted my Mac but it continuously says it is offline. My host has used the exact same settings on a Mac as I am using and it works fine for them.

Please note that this has worked fine in the past but every year or so it seems to stop working.

How do I get the account's outgoing server issue to stay online?
