Old number deletion I got a new number on my iPhone 13 and when you go into your Apple ID, it shows my new number and it shows the old number but under the old number it says iMessages and iPhone will go to that number and I’m trying to delete it

Deregister old number. How do I deregister my old number from my new phone? It is showing both old and new. Old is no longer an active number but showing reachable on iMessage and FaceTime under my ID contact info.

this does not work I changed my number so it text a code to a number that does not exist
