If you're asked to enter an AirPlay password on Apple TV - Apple Support
If you are trying to stream using AirPlay from your Mac to an Apple TV box or AirPlay-enabled TV or AirPlay-enabled Roku, then you may be asked for a password, if one is set. Find the AirPlay settings on the receiving device, where you can view, change, or turn off the password requirement. From default, an obscured password may be set (••••••); change it to something else.
If no password is set, then you may be asked for a pairing code, as displayed on the other device.
