I recently switched to an iPhone from a Google Pixel, and had all of my messages transferred to my new device.
When in the messages app, the messages take FOREVER to load. It was a pointless transfer because only my side of the conversations saved as well.
Is there a way to fix this?

Also, does the issue still occur after restarting your iPhone using the steps here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
Lastly, does it seem to still be loading the content onto the device from the transfer or has the transfer completed?
