Pending Transaction

I ordered an item from the Apple store app, used my Apple Card and for over a week now it still says pending. Should I be worried that something is wrong?

Yes, a pending transaction is normal for an item purchased, but has not yet shipped. Once the item is confirmed shipped, the transaction will finalize and be completed.

Apple, the merchant you purchased an item from, and Goldman Sachs, Apple Card issuer and servicer, are two separate companies. Apple cannot see financial information such as credit limit and balances on your Apple Card. When you ordered the item Apple checked if you had enough available credit on your card to purchase the item. That inquiry is the pending transaction you see. When the item ships, pending sale will transition from pending to completed, as normal.
