Unfortunately you don't provide sufficient details of the symptoms to help you here. If the issue is due to software, then the contributors on this forum may be able to assist you, but if the laptop has a hardware issue, then @lobsterghost1 is absolutely correct.
These USB-C Apple laptops are very complicated to troubleshoot and have very odd behaviors even when they appear to be healthy. Even after working with these USB-C Macs for six years and hundreds of our organization's USB-C Macs, I still have trouble diagnosing them.
There is nothing an average user can do by opening up these USB-C Macs. Even experienced techs will have problems working on them. These laptops consist primarily of three major parts containing 99% of the laptop since each of those major parts contain multiple integrated components that are not replaceable (or easily replaceable). Plus the 2018+ models have a T2 security chip which complicates things even further since you cannot just swap parts since some parts require the T2 security chip (aka Logic Board) to be reprogrammed by a special Apple service utility that can only be used when an official Apple repair is performed. It is not possible even for an AASP to use this utility on demand to reprogram the Logic Board to work with these other parts since it requires them to purchase a part directly from Apple. Sometimes the laptop will work without this reprogramming, but some functionality may be reduced or impaired.
Even removing the Bottom Case is difficult and many people end up causing internal damage to the laptop. The laptop is full of fragile delicate cables & connectors which are easily damaged even by experiences techs (yes, some things are that delicate). Plus many people don't realize that their are two things that must be done just to disconnect the battery.
Make sure to have a good backup now while you can because later on it may be too late. Data recovery is not possible if the Logic Board fails on these USB-C Apple laptops (especially the 2018+ models with the T2 security chip which hardware encrypts the data on the SSD).
You should always have frequent and regular backups of your computer and all external media (including the cloud) which contains important & unique data.
