I have tried numerous times to copy files from my PC to my MacBook Pro. The migration freezes during the file transfer and never finishes. What is the problem?
Why does the migration process freeze after the files are chosen to copy ?

If you're using Migration Assistant and it's failing, I suggest you put the PC files onto an external HDD and copy them from it to the Mac using Finder.
You'll need the format of the external drive to be exFAT.
