My text icon went away. I probably hit a key by mistake, I would like to restore it or will it just come back if I am sent a text message?
The Messages app is not one of the apps that can be deleted but it can be removed from the home screen. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.
Swipe your home screens all the way to the left until you get to the App Library. Find the Messages app, then press and hold and drag it back to a home screen.
