screen has went black on phone but its still working and is fully charged

how can i reset t the phone so that i can see my text and calls ? the screen went black but isnt broken

Hmm, if the iPhone's screen is black, how do you know that it is still working?

Regardless, have you tried?

Simply restarting your iPhone: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
Force restarting it: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
Restoring it back to its factory settings: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
