Apple Weather vs The Weather Channel

Why is it that the Apple weather app powered by The Weather Channel shows different information then The Weather Channel app itself? Example currently Apple weather says 92° but feels like 100°. The Weather Channel app says 95° but feels like 104°. It’s all the time. Shouldn’t they both read the same?

Hi jmgrosso1897,

We're happy to assist you with the app. Does the issue still occur after restarting the app and the iPhone using the steps here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Also, since the information is reported from another company, there could be a possible delay in it showing updated in the Apple Weather app. You can view more about the Weather app, along with all sources of data, here: Check the weather on iPhone - Apple Support and Feature availability and data sources in the Weather app - Apple Support

Best regards!

Jmgrosso1897,

You can report the weather in your location if it doesn’t match what’s shown in the Weather app using these steps:

1. Open Weather, then tap the Edit Cities button.

2. Tap the More Options button, then tap Report an Issue.

3. Tap the options that best describe the weather conditions in your location.

4. Tap Submit.

The information you share with Apple isn’t associated with your Apple ID.

More details found here: Check the weather on iPhone

We hope this helps.

Stay safe and well!
