I have an IPhone 13 with T-mobile and after updating to iOS 15.6 last night I lost my ability to share my screen. The entire icon is missing. Only 4 buttons are there now (message, speaker, microphone, camera). Did apple take it away? Is there a way to get it back?

If the SharePlay icon is still missing, confirm the content you're attempting to share is compatible as outlined below.
Some apps that support SharePlay require a subscription. To watch a movie or TV show together, every participant needs to have access to the content on their own device, through either a subscription or purchase. SharePlay may not support the sharing of some movies or TV shows across different countries or regions. FaceTime, some FaceTime features, and other Apple services may not be available in all countries or regions.

If you've already started this process, some of this reply may not apply. However, we'd suggest backing things up prior to restoring the device to factory settings: Back up iPhone - Apple Support (That way you can always restore from that backup, if needed: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support)
With that said, after restoring to factory settings: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support Were you able to test out SharePlay and Screen Sharing? If so, did you have success with sharing your screen after restoring or no?

In the FaceTime app, you can use SharePlay (iOS 15.1 or later) to share your screen in a FaceTime call—you can bring apps, webpages, and more into the conversation. You can show off a photo album, plan your next vacation together, or get feedback on something you’re working on, all while seeing and hearing the reactions of others on the call.
1. In your FaceTime call, tap the screen to show the controls (if they aren’t visible), tap, then tap Share My Screen.

understood. The icon is still missing. I did not have the opportunity to select an app, since the SharePlay button was not there to begin with. Thx for the response. I’ll probably end up doing a factory reset and reinstalling iOS 15.6
