Why can’t I edit the plugins I selected?

If you haven't already, quit the GarageBand app (save changes first) and restart your Mac to see if fresh connections help to resolve this issue:
Quit apps on Mac - Apple Support
Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support

this Community doesn’t help whatsoever
I’m mixing my vocals and I put in my usual plugins and everytime I click on them to edit it doesn’t pop up nothing whatsoever it just started happening today and I don’t know what’s happening but it’s getting me mad I’m in the middle of recording
