My wife's group texts fail when she tries to send to her family. Father and sister have an iPhone, but her mom has an android. She can text here mom individually and it works, but cannot text them all together. She has an iphone 12 mini ios 15.5. Any ideas what the problem is?

SMS/MMS is a feature from your carrier, not Apple. Make sure SMS/MMS messaging is on. Go to Settings > Messages and turn on MMS Messaging, if necessary. If you don’t see an option to turn on MMS Messaging or Group Messaging, contact your carrier to see if your plan supports Group MMS Messaging.

The answer provided does not help. There are 8 of us having the same exact issue with group texts. It just started happening this week (July 25, 2022). Different locations and others have been complaining as well about the issue. It's any group message (between iPhones/Android phones). They need to address this issue. We started noticing it after updating to IOS 15.6 (which we did July 24). Chatted with Apple (7-28) and they told us to reset network settings on all iPhones with IOS 15.6. This fixed it for one day, now we are back to the same issues all over again today. :\
