Can I use an AirTag to track my luggage?
I have heard that people are able to find their luggage across the country with an air tag inside of it. How does this work

The page Apple provides on AirTag has all that information:
How does it work?
Your AirTag sends out a secure Bluetooth signal that can be detected by nearby devices in the Find My network. These devices send the location of your AirTag to iCloud — then you can go to the Find My app and see it on a map. The whole process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. And itʼs efficient, so thereʼs no need to worry about battery life or data usage.

"Find My" should be a separate entity accessed by an App
among items on the iPhone screen. iCloud shares devices.

Compatible with
(some features may be limited by iPhone + iOS version)
So when I look at my iPhone find my section I can only see find my iPhone. Don’t see find my AirTag.
