Phone ringing when I get texts (only from ONE person who has “ text only” android phone!

Ok, I have a coworker who has an android phone that only works in Wi-Fi ( to make actual calls) so this person texts a lot & it’s extremely annoying that both my iPad & iphone actually RINGS whenever they text me! Is there a way to make this stop happening bc it’s driving me nuts!

Hi bevamjo,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

You should be able to fix this in the Contacts app and choosing Edit in the upper right corner when your Contact is selected. You'll then be able to change the Ringtone and Text Tone for the Contact.
