Notes

I am trying to get into the Notes app on my new iPhone 13Pro. I don’t remember the password. I put in my iCloud password but that doesn’t work. When I try to recover my iCloud password it tries to get me to change my apple password. I am confused.

Q1. "I am trying to get into the Notes app on my new iPhone 13Pro. I don’t remember the password."

A1. Passwords are for security purposes. So, if you don't remover the password, you'll never be able to get into it. It might be a password of a pet's name or of some other keywords.

Q2. "I put in my iCloud password but that doesn’t work. When I try to recover my iCloud password it tries to get me to change my apple password. I am confused."

A2. Your iCloud password is that of your Apple ID (the same you used to log in to these forums with, given it is the same account). There is one password for all of you Apple ID. Most certainly consider changing it every-so-often for Security & Privacy purposes.
