Lithuanian language keyboard has all kinds of unneeded characters?

I noticed that Lithuanian language keyboard has all kinds of unneeded characters that no one is using in our daily typing.

For example when you hold “a” you get a popup with many different characters like: å,æ,ã,ā,ä,á,à,â . These letters should be hidden under special characters and not be included in the main keyboard, since we only use them in dictionary’s to know how to properly pronounce it vocally, they are not written in normal situations.

In a normal language scenario we don’t use any of those. We only use “ą”. And it’s pretty much the case with all the special characters we use like: ė,ę,ū,ų,į,ą,č,ž, etc. It would make typing way faster in Lithuanian if it would be revised.

If you have a Lithuanian working with you, they should be able to explain it better.
