Apple Watch

My friend gave me an Apple Watch as she was leaving the country and the watch is completely black on the face and will not force restart and the watch will not magnetically attach to the charger. Is there anything I can do to get it working again or is it a lost cause?

Make sure that you are using the right charger for your Apple Watch.
