Hello Surf2000,

Since this subscription is billed through Apple, you should be able to find and edit the subscription using the steps below from How to switch to a different subscription plan - Apple Support.

"Switch your subscription plan on a Windows PC

  1. On your PC, open iTunes.
  2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account, then choose View My Account.
  3. Click View Account.
  4. Scroll to the Settings section. Next to Subscriptions, click Manage.
  5. Click Edit next to the subscription that you want.
  6. Choose a different subscription option."

If you're unable to edit your subscription or need more help, reach out to Apple Support for billing help.

Take care.

We understand your concern and we want to ensure the best support is provided, Surf2000.

We're glad you were able to verify the subscription on your Mac. The steps for Mac are similar to the steps you'd walk through in iTunes on a PC. To look in to options for upgrading your subscription, you'll want to reach out to Apple next. You can find their contact details via the Apple Support link previously provided, along with the link below.

MS does not help. This MS 365 was purchased through apple iTunes. The only thing I can do is cancel this subscription in iTunes. When I look into my MS account for this software it tells me to go to the third party seller (Apple). I suppose I can cancel 365 personal and sign up for 365 family, but I have no confidence in iTunes and expect I will get charged the full $99 for the family plan in addition to the $69 I just spent in June for the personal plan renewal.

First of all I have a MacBook Pro not a PC. I can get to iTunes and to the "edit subscription" page. Under options it shows the purchase of MS 365 personal for $69.95. No option to upgrade to family plan. The only other thing I can do on this page is cancel the subscription, which is senseless since it's paid up to June 2023 and apparently there is no refund. If I cancel and purchase the family plan it will cost me $69.95 (already paid) plus $99.95 whereas on the MS site it appears it would only cost $30 to upgrade for one year.
