AirDrop failed to send because not enough free space.

Tried to AirDrop to another iPhone but got message that there was not enough free space even though there is more than enough

How do I fix AirDrop not completing or showing on iPhone 13 with iOS 18.4.1? im having iphone 13 ios 18.4.1 , i tried airdrop documents several times recently but airdrop stop at the last part of receiving without completing.but sender phone shows as "sent".airdrop stuck at this point showing on pic and no further proceeding or cant cancel the transfer. If you were AirDropping then the storage issue is on the receiver's end.

If you were receiving then the size and number of files being AirDropped by the sender need to be ascertained.
