few iPhone backups with different names same id

can I change name on my old iphone and make different backups for all my iPhones like 5 of them all with same Apple ID

Removing a device from common icloud backup for multiple iPhones It has been said before that contatcts, notes, calender, etc are asociated with Apple ID in case of multiple iPhones being backed up in one ID. My question is if one of the iPhone (with different device name) is removed from the cloud backup, will contatcts, notes etc for the other iPhone remain undisturbed?

On each phone go to Settings/General/About, tap on the current name and you can edit it. Feel free to be creative; my iPad is named “Ada Lovelace” and my iPhone “Don’t Panic”. (And my Watch, “Fidgety”)
