Find My watch giving confusing locations

Find My kept reporting old locations for my watch, places I had been hours before. When it showed a current location, it was at my home. My car was home at the same time. We have searched the car top to bottom and side to side with no luck. Any suggestions?

Watch I lost my apple watch. They were already exhausted last Sunday. Until yesterday, the application for finding watches showed me their location in the places where my car was at the time, but I have searched completely several times and they are not in it. I also tried the sound but to no avail. Is it possible that the search app is showing the location of the phone instead of the watch?
