iPhone wet, blew hot air into the bottom, and the lightning port broke

I accidentally dropped my iphone 12 into a broth. It was immediately taken out and cleaned of any food debris. I tried to use a hairdryer to drive water out of the lighning port but ended up overheating it, completely disabling the port.

Is it imperative that I get my phone repaired? Or can I use magsafe devices to charge it instead( i happen to be in possession of one)?

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 15
