Use FaceID to protect mail on iPhone

Why don’t Apple allow its users to protect their Mail app with FaceID and/password?

Nowadays most of other apps passwords resets are done through e-mail, therefore if someone gets access to your phone while unlocked, they can easily reset password from bank account, utilities providers and much more.

This seams such an easy development that I cannot understand why is it taking so long to be done.

I meant the Mail app Original from Apple, where we usually connect all emails accounts. While searching for a solution O even found several e-mail apps that looks exactly the same, but offers the FaceID safety.

This is a common type of crime, to steal the iPhone from the user one the streets while it’s unlocked, go for important apps like banks, request password reset, and get it from the user Mail app.
