securityd process spiking CPU, heating up MacBook Air

After saving Bitbucket credentials in Keychain (via SourceTree), the background process securityd is going nuts, burning up a constant 25%-50% of CPU, and overheating my 2020 M1 MacBook Air (various dies at ~180°F).

Even after quitting SourceTree, the process continues to eat up CPU.

The only way to get it to stop is to delete this particular Bitbucket credential from Keychain:

Uninstall the Software --Use Safe Mode:

1. Cool the Mac First:

Let the Mac cool down (place it atop a loopy cooler, keep it out on an enclosed space (i.e. a closet), and keep it out of direct sunlight.

then...

2. Uninstall the Software:

Once all is cooled down, boot into Safe Mode, and uninstall this software properly (if an uninstaller is required, then use that, rather than just dragging it to the Trash. Doing so, you'd leave caches laying about your Mac that you may never be able to rid of). For Safe Mode boot instructions, go here: How to Use Safe Mode on your Mac - Apple Support

That will probably work fine...until tomorrow morning when I need that software to do my job. :) And it's only a problem with the credentials of this one Bitbucket repository. I've been using this app for years, and have no problem using it every day with other repsonsitories.
