My watch has been stuck on the apple logo now for 24 hours, I have tried resetting with the crown and the side button multiple times, I have also tried to connect via the watch app on my iPhone, this however is no longer picking up my watch.

When trying to force restart your Apple Watch, did you hold the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds? Sometimes it can take just a few seconds longer than you expect, so if not, let's try one more time: Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support
