Mine may be a different case from yours but just in case let me share !
I just received a very unusual ??? free-trial finishing alert email from Elevate Brain Training company on 27th July 2022 21:54 Japan Time.
It was just out of blue and I had no idea because I have never downloaded Elevate app on my phone.
I also double-checked my purchase history ( my app downloading history ) with an Apple Support Team and there was no such purchase history.
Elevate company sent to my email which was different from my Apple ID’s email so it turned out it was not from Apple security problems at all.
Anyway I immediately sent a few emails to Elevate company to ask how they will stop charging for nothing while I have never downloaded the app nor signed up at all and investigate how and why they got my email first place.
They replied in a few hours with apologies that it was their error and I will not be charged anything but they didn’t explain why this happened or how / why they got my email so I keep asking them why now.
I shared this just in case and because it seems like Elevate company is in a mess right now …I m not the only one who got such an email from Elevate company.

Thank you for getting in touch with us. We’re currently experiencing an influx of customer support emails, and it's taking us longer than usual to respond to your message individually.
If you are contacting us about receiving an email on July 27th, with the subject line “Your trial ends in two days”, please note that you received that email in error. You are not at risk of being charged unless you actually started an Elevate trial with us in the last week, and there is no further action you need to take. We’re terribly sorry for the stress and confusion this has caused.
If you would like to double check that you do not have an active Elevate subscription, you can follow the steps below. if you do not see Elevate, or do not see a cancelation option, then you do not have an active trial.
For iOS users
1) Tap on the Settings app on your iOS device
2) Tap on your Apple ID (your profile photo at the top of the Settings screen)
3) Tap on Subscriptions
4) Tap on Elevate
5) To cancel your subscription tap on "Cancel Subscription" in red
For Android users
1) Go to play.google.com
2) Sign in to the correct Google Account
3) On the left, tap on "My subscriptions"
4) Select the subscription you want to cancel
5) Tap on "Manage"
6) Tap on "Cancel subscription"
7) Within the confirmation pop-up, tap "Yes"
