Why, all of a sudden, has my MagSafe duo stopped charging my devices?

I bought this MagSafe duo less than a year ago and the wireless charging side has stopped working. My Apple Watch charges just fine. Before you say I don't have the correct charging brick, I do. I specifically looked up the correct charging brick that was needed because it wouldn't charge my iPhone when I first got it. It has been charging it fine for several months now but in the last couple days I've noticed that when I place my iPhone or my AirPods Pro case on the MagSafe charger, the charging stops after about 5 to 7 seconds.

Why is it doing this? I literally only have $21 left to pay on it and of course it's going to break down now.
