My iPad Air 2 cellular service can work with 5g?
My cellular service for my iPad air2 no longer works because 3g service was eliminated. Will it work for 5g?

To use 5G cellular, you need a device with 5G cellular compatible hardware. It’s not just a software or firmware issue, it is a hardware issue.
An option is an older device that is 4G LTE capable as 5G is backwards compatible with 4G LTE. Otherwise you will need to buy a 5G iPad (iPad pro or iPad air 5th gen. Or a 11 inch iPad Pro 3rd gen).
