Can you connect an Apple Watch to an ipad

I’m hoping I can connect my Watch SE to my iPad. Is it possible to do so? Also, is it normal for a watch to go from normal view to so big that you can’t do anything or see anything?

No you cannot, Apple Watch only works with an iPhone

No, it is not possible to link an iPad and an Apple Watch. You can only do that with an up to date iPhone.

You can connect an ipad to the watch for Fitness+ workouts,it still needs to be paired with an iphone first though.
